The role of research topic in deciding our future, is that it can help us enhance our self-esteem and knowledge about the matter especially in the field of Computer Science. In the first step of conducting research, choosing the topic for the research reflects the interests of an individual or students like us in a subject matter. In lieu of that, one must also know his/her capacity and strength in making the said research. Another is, he/she would learn how to make budget plans; how to do technical writings, experimentations, and even in making time management chart or timeframe. By that, student can gain more knowledge and could have experiences regarding in making the research that could be in use in his/her future career.

Thus, research would also be significant in our future because it would stand as a guide in the path we would choose. It will help us be more knowledgeable and to become experts in our chosen field. And the experiences would lead us to become more mature, professional and wise individuals in facing the facts of the real world when we would have our future career. :]

Having a course of Computer Science or Information Technology, I, as a student of such course will say that the topic of the research that would be made should be address related to the course taken. Making research with the topics about information technology and the like will help the students gain more knowledge and enhance their abilities on the matter. Making research to other areas is not prohibited but also it should be interrelated to the IT or Computer Science.

Research would be a great help not only to the students but also to the organization they belong and to the government, especially in the our country. Like what have Sir Randy Gamboa discussed hours ago, we could make research about agriculture but with IT in it. Why not? Maybe we could discover and invent a solution about the rice shortage issue ("daw") in the our country. An automated rice production maybe? But the question is 'How?'. To know the answer, let's make a research and look for rich funding agency! Let us make sure that we have lot of funds in making the research because it is expensive for sure.

In making research, resources are very important. We look for resources in the library and internet. We could also gather information and data for additional resources by the use of questionnnaires or by interviewing a particular person.

In a traditional way, library is most commonly use since it is one of the oldest tools of research. And libraries are easy to be found and go to. There are academic libraries located in the colleges/universities. Public and private libraries, corporate or government could also be in good use in conducting research. The Research libraries are intended for supporting scholarly research, and therefore maintain permanent collections and attempt to provide access to all necessary material which could be the most suitable libraries for researchers.

Nowadays, many libraries are now expanding their teritory with the help of electronics. Library assistants are still can be found in the libraries eventhough some libraries are being modernized. Modern in the sense that, the collection does not focus only on books but on media for storing of information. The article I have found in the internet is about the state of computer science research in India. And on how the researches have been a big help in India's technological and economic progress. The researches have been organized by some educational research institutions, funded and sponsored by the government, and some are made by private organizations. But inspite of the fast growing economy, research funding is the number one problem in research industries. Funding agencies in India demands more industry oriented research but somehow lack of funds. The researchers are not equally funded. Large research group may get the big amount and the small group research may get just little support. Isn't it fair? Yes. The funding of research should be equalized and the researchers involved in such should be accountable to the funding agency they are under. Receiving not enough fund and compensation can make the researchers unable to work properly. Thus, this make research not helpful rather hurtful. Making research is sure very expensive. So, if we plan to make a research, we sure should have lot of money to fund our work.
